It’s summer time!  And for Kaleo, that means a summer of ministry ahead.  We are so thankful for the mission teams from churches all around the country who are coming to Portland, New Orleans or San Diego to serve this summer.  For me as the director of Kaleo, this is my favorite time of year.  I have had the chance in the last several weeks to spend time in training our staff, connecting with our ministry partners and making the last minute preparations for our groups to arrive.  And our first groups are now onsite serving the people and ministries in each of our cities and learning more of what it means to love the Lord and others and to live a life of mission during the trip and long after their mission trip ends.

We would love your prayers throughout the summer.  In everything we do, we pray that we are being a blessing to the ministries and organizations we partner with and that our participants are being transformed more into the image of Christ as a result of their time in the city.  If you would join us in praying for our ministry partners, staff and teams this summer, we would be very grateful.  Also, make sure to check back to our blog regularly as our staff will be posting about their experiences throughout the summer!
