When I look around I see the unity of different cultures with similar stories that God has brought together.  When you think about missionaries, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? Africa, Asia, Overseas… well those were the first things that used to come to my mind as well. God opened my eyes in a Luke 16:10 kind of way, “whoever can be trusted with very little can be trusted with much.”  God showed me to look around you, what you may think is only a little means so much more than you can imagine in the hearts of those you have affected. Doing missionary work in your own city may seem little compared to going to Africa or any other country, but why wouldn’t God put you to work there first? Serving in your own city allows you to grow, and allows God to shape, prepare and mold you to walk in your calling! As the saying goes you never run before learning how to walk.  God will always equip you for what he has called you to do.
