Summer Job Opportunities

Kaleo Summer Staff

How would you like to spend an entire summer immersed in a major U.S. City, being used by God to transform the lives of literally hundreds of youth and college students who come on Kaleo trips?  We are looking for people to serve in each of our two locations- Dallas and New Orleans- for the summer of 2010.

We are looking for people over 18 years old who have a strong relationship with Christ and are committed to seeing believers mobilized to be ministers of the Gospel right here in the United States.   You will live and serve alongside of the teams that will come to work with Kaleo this summer, assisting the teams in everything from meal preparation to orientation activities to team debriefs. In addition to the staff team’s shared responsibilities, you will each be assigned one of the following roles on the team:

  • Team Leader
  • Ministry/Outreach Coordinator
  • Hospitality Coordinator
  • Groups Coordinator

For more information about each of these roles, please click here. For answers to commonly asked questions about Kaleo Staff positions, click here.

On the application you will be given the opportunity to specify your preferred role. We will do our best to accommodate your request, but roles will ultimately be determined based on the needs of the teams in each site.

We will provide all meals during your service with Kaleo, as well as provide you with housing options.  You will also receive a stipend for your summer of service, and have the opportunity to raise additional support through American Missionary Fellowship.  We will be glad to work with your university/seminary for internship credit.

For a Kaleo Summer Staff Application, or for more information, please email Ronnie Davis at ronnie@kaleomissions.org.  We look forward to hearing from you!
